- **[Pyodide](https://pyodide.org/en/stable/)**: the browser-based Python distribution whose pioneering work made emscripten-forge possible. Many recipes, build scripts, and patches are inspired by pyodide.
- **[conda-forge](https://conda-forge.org/)**: the community packaging project that shaped much of emscripten-forge's build tooling and recipe format.
